It is with great pleasure that we present the new logo of our school, which was created with inspiration from the rich history and cultural heritage of Rhodes. Our students drew inspiration from two important artistic and historical monuments of our country: the statue of the Olympic champion Diagoras of Rhodes, who excelled in boxing and was honoured as a symbol of excellence, and the Ancient Stadium of Rhodes, where sporting events and celebrations took place in honour of the god Sun.
In the process of creating the logo, the students made use of technology, a subject taught at our school and a source of enthusiasm and creativity. Two logo proposals were made, and then a vote was held, in which both students and their parents participated. The outcome of this process produced the final logo, which represents the philosophy and vision of our school.
The logo depicts Diagoras, winner and symbol of sportsmanship, as he triumphantly enters the Ancient Stadium of Rhodes on the shoulders of his sons. This image reflects the unity, pride, and values of cooperation that our school promotes.
